S day slips in and out with a SPLASH!!

Hello Everybody!
What a SUPER S day we had today!! We started our day off a little different today with Clubs. We LOVE Clubs! Every friend in Multi-Age gets to pick a club and then they get to go to that club for four sessions. Some of the clubs are cooking club, springtime crafts club, human body club and many others! Clubs are SUPER and we learn SO man SUPER things! After Clubs, we got to go to Music with the lovely Mrs. Cushing. We love Mrs. Cushing and her class is so fun because we get to SING SONGS and play SUPER instruments. Thanks, Mrs. Cushing, for making music so fun! After Music, we came back to the classroom for Math. In Math today, we played "The Great Dice Challenge" game. Gavin was the teacher which meant that he got to roll the dice on the Smart Board while the friends in each grade level took turns getting to answer the questions on their dry erase boards. After every grade level gets a turn at answering 20 questions, we have a SUPER Bowl and today the SUPER bowl was extra SUPER! Our first place winner was José Manuel, our second place winner was Gavin and our third place winner was Ben, Way to go, friends!!
After Math, we went to lunch and had a SUPER and SPLENDID time there! We came back to the classroom to do reading centers. For centers today, we did some really SUPER things! For Science, we got to play Quiz, Quiz, Trade where we trade quiz cards with our friends. The cards have questions about animals and habitats on them so we love quizzing our friends on them. We have learned about six habitats so far, the Amazon Rainforest, the Florida Everglades, the Canadian Rockies, the Serengeti, the Sonoran Desert and the Australian Grasslands. Maybe you can come to our classroom one day and we can quiz you on all the things we have learned... it would be SUPER!!
We finished up our S day eating strawberries and being very studious students! We hope you had a SUPER S day too and can't wait to write to you again tomorrow! Happy R Day Eve!
Love,
Mrs. J and her really, really, really, SUPER students
